State lawmakers on Monday heard a house bill supported by Gov. Steve Bullock that calls for investing $22 million in the next biennium for preschool, adding special education to inflationary funding formulas and restoring funds for a program to help rural school districts recruit and retain teachers.“I am desperately asking you to move this forward,” Great Falls Public Schools Superintendent Tammy Lacey told members of House Education Committee.
